about me

I'm Emily.

I work as an EFL teacher, a corporate blog manager, and a freelance writer and translator in Madrid, Spain. 

I grew up in the Southeast of the United States where I studied at Auburn University. After graduating, I decided to move to Spain. I completed TEFL training and started working as an English teacher. (Just for a year! I said.) Five years later and I'm still here. While I love teaching, I still feel drawn to create. That's where free range comes in. 

free range is a space where all of my ideas coalesce.
